A quick fun set shot at a dive bar called El Batey during my trip in San Juan, Puerto Rico. I snuck off to the back area to make my mark on the wall and realized it was very brightly lit from a flood light and figured why not grab some awesome shots! This is when my new iphone really comes in handy!

Though it was risky because it was just a big open space where the restrooms were located so anyone could have walked back at any time, catching me flashing my lady bits, and though there were a few close calls I still managed to shoot enough hot photos to complete a short set! Hope you have fun watching me appease the exhibitionist in me ;)

Though there is no real snow in this set I still felt it was a fitting name because something about it just makes me think of snow. I’m relieved I was able to shoot this Christmas set in the midst of my busy move. I put my new Iphone to work again and I’m pretty happy with the result! I hope you enjoy my spooky twist on this Holiday set, if you know anything about my work you’d know I like to try and keep it pretty alternative and dark ;)

San Juan, Puerto Rico

Flew out to Puerto Rico on December 1st for the Puerto Rico Tattoo Convention. I really fell in love with Puerto Rico. I’m still mind blown by the amazing food but most of all I was so captivated by the old architectures right on the ocean! The Convention was also a great success. I met so many nice people and was even approached by the lovely Morgin Riley to shoot some quick casual shots, how could I say no to such an amazing photographer! Hopefully I’ll have some of the photos soon to share with you all! Aside from that I was feeling great being surrounded by so much amazing art and watching some of the most renounded tattooers at work. It was an amazing experience and I think for this being San Juan’s first tattoo convention it was a massive success and can only expect next year to be even better! Of course Atti and I had a blast with Toxyc and Flavia and Justin from Ressurection Tattoo. Fun times and surely a trip I will not forget. I even snuck in a very successful shoot with my new IPhone while I was at the El Batey bar ;) The location was really cool and there was a flood light which was a great source of light, I just couldn’t resist! On Monday Toxyc, Flavia and Justin had an early afternoin flight back to Austin which left Atti and I on our own. Our flight back to Tampa only left at 8pm so we had the whole day to sight see which I was really grateful for. One of my favorite things about travelling is experencing the culture and visiting the old architectures. Old San Juan blew me away! I’ll stop babbling and let you all watch the photos to see what I mean ;)

A perfect set for the autumn season. I was very inspired to shoot something soft with a note of simplicity. Being off grid for a couple if weeks after my return to the US left an imprint on my creativity. Surrounded by the flora and fauna of the Appalachian mountains I surrendered to my most natural form allowing nature envelop me in her delicate embrace.

Austin, TX

Austin was a lot of fun! It was really nice catching up with Toxyc and Flavia, our generous hosts.

We could only find cheap flights out of Orlando on Nov. 26th so we ended up waking up at 3am and calling an Uber to head to the Orlando airport from Tampa. We made it there by 5am and our flight got us to Austin by 9am. Of course we headed out for drinks downtown in the evening to get a taste of Austin’s nightlife but we were pretty beat from all the traveling so we didn’t spend too much time exploring. The following day Atti had an appointment with Toxyc anyway for a touch up and a few new additions to his head tattoo. During our 4 day vacation we also looked at a few apartments and I think we might have found one! After our search we hit up breakfast tacos, headed out to The Oasis, a restaurant situated at the edge of a cliff overlooking a breathtaking view of Lake Travis, then a quick stop at a hula bar for margaritas before hitting up 6th street for more drinks. I was so happy to find an Irish Car Bomb partner to down a couple of those with ;)

On December 1st we were all packed up and ready to head to Puerto Rico for the San Juan Tattoo Convention but first you can see photos from my Austin trip under the cut!!

One of the two bar sets I shot with Amelia G during my Las Vegas trip. This was a really fun and spontaneous spur of the moment shoot done in a bar restroom. The time just felt right and I’m happy I leaped on the opportunity because I think the photos turned out really bad ass under the devilish red light ;)

From the photographer: So it was the first night of our Las Vegas trip. And we heard this one bar had a fun drag show. So we headed out to the nightclub. Drinks were like a billion dollars each and the club informed us that the performers were going to go on at 2am. Oh yeah, a lot of things happen later at night in Las Vegas. So RazorCandi and I had to amuse ourselves. I noticed that there was this really interesting red light in the bathroom, so I took a photo of the wall and then I knew what would make that wall look even better — RazorCandi in front of it!

Really excited about this set for a couple reasons. First reason being that it was shot with Amelia G, which was a great honor and a pleasure to work with! Secondly the location was awesome! I’ve always been obsessed with graffiti and street art and the fact that this location was in a really cool punk bar only made it that much better. It was undeniable to pass up sneaking off and getting naughty in the bathroom for this set ;)

Words from the photographer: This was shot at my very favorite bar in Las Vegas. The punk DJ playing this night was so good. Practically, every track, we were all like “oh, I love this song!” RazorCandi looks gorgeous in every lighting situation, so we were hanging out, listening to great music and having a few drinks, but I kept looking at her and thinking “must take photographs!” The super cool graffiti bathroom made it so we just had to shoot a set. By the way, if any of you missed your chance to get the RazorCandi coffee table photo book and calendar, for just a few days, you can buy the book and get the calendar free!

Las Vegas

Finally made it out to Las Vegas for the first time! I had an opportunity to make a trip out that way for some photo shoots with the Blue Blood crew Forrest Black and Amelia G. Over all the trip was a complete success and I’m looking forward to sharing all the new material I shot especially with my new wishlist items thanks to my generous supporters! Ironically while I was in Vegas my bestest friend Stephen happened to be out there as well as my friend Josh so it was a pleasant surprise to see them the first night we arrived. I spent most of Tuesday and Wednesday shooting but was still able to slip in some leisure time for drinks and exploring around the beautiful city. Anyway, I’ll just let you all watch the photos to get an idea ;)

Florida

Flew down to Florida a couple days before Halloween to celebrate my older sister’s birthday and spend Halloween with my twin sister. We’ve been taking it mostly pretty easy with lots of visits to coffee shops, enjoying lots of the best food ever like sushi and tacos, mini golfing, bowling and of course bars & beach visits! I also made it out to The Castle which was a pleasant blast from the past. My most memorable moments so far have been seeing my best friend Steevie, and shooting a really cool tribal inspired set at Ft. Desoto beach. I also managed to shoot some wigs with my twin sister for Pennywigs! These are sets you can expect in the near future but until then I have big plans to catch an early flight to Las Vegas on Monday!

Pennsylvania

First off I want to thank everyone who helped me out with wishlist gifts! I already have plans for most of the items and can’t wait to get back to shooting asap!

Wishlist aside I wanted to post about my trip back home. Atti and I decided to fly into JFK, New York because it was cheaper than most options but also because my parents are currently staying in their cabin in Pennsylvania and a short ride from the airport back to their place. It was a very relaxing stay and I loved seeing all the wildlife and colors.

We had a great time visiting Ricketts Glen, the Gettysburg Museum, the Yuengling Brewery in Pottsville, the Lackawanna Cole Mine and Steamtown in Scranton as well as other fun things like shooting bows and photo shoots ;) Anyway I’ll let the photos do the talking as usual :)
