girl, you’re one of the most beautiful women I’ve ever seen. with or without make-up. and I’m not exaggerating :D it’s great to see you that happy, I wish you and atti only the best. and I have to confess that I really love reading through your “little” adventures :)
    have a great sunday <3

  • Posted March 15, 2009 at 12:43 pm | Permalink

I haven’t been to Crazy Buffet in months. Last time I was there I pigged out on sushi and soup until I almost burst. Makes me want to go back,

I have a few pics I still need to post. Probably tomorrow or Tuesday I will.

  • Posted March 15, 2009 at 1:24 pm | Permalink

Aw thanks :D I really feel so weird without make up because I got so used to wearing it all the time and a lot of it, thought I have been wearing it a whole lot less living in Romania, there really isn’t any reason to put it on since there aren’t many clubs or events, I am slowly becoming more comfortable with my face without make up though, besides I’m totally not going to travel 30 some hours with a full face of make up lol but I don’t want to not post pictures either so I and everyone else will just have to deal with the fact that I am not RazorCandi 24/7 haha.

I am glad you enjoy looking through my LJ, there will be many more adventure to come!

  • Posted March 15, 2009 at 1:26 pm | Permalink

mm yeah, I miss the Crazy Buffet, I pig out on the sushi too, that’s why I go! $10 all you can eat FRESH sushi!

eek, I hope they aren’t too horrid, you know how candid pics can end up looking :-p Can’t wait to see them!

  • Posted March 15, 2009 at 1:35 pm | Permalink

I have been cutting back on posting the bad ones.
…unless they are really bad and then it is a must that I post them in as many places as possible.

  • Posted March 15, 2009 at 3:37 pm | Permalink

    Lovely pics <3

  • Posted March 15, 2009 at 4:36 pm | Permalink

Bah. How is it that you always just stay so gorgeous..
And I don’t know what you’re talking about hoping your skin clears up, because it looks fine to me, enviable in fact.
And I agree with the first comment, it’s so interesting reading through all your adventures. It makes my life seem oh so boring >.>

  • Posted March 15, 2009 at 4:46 pm | Permalink

I totally agree with what the_boneflower already said!
You’re so pretty! And Attila always looks so funny and nice and gorgeous, i want a boyfriend like that!

  • Posted March 15, 2009 at 8:18 pm | Permalink

i love you guys. me and my sis just got a d60 so we will be taking lots of pix as well. hehe <3

  • Posted March 15, 2009 at 9:41 pm | Permalink

Is that Grave Digger being towed down the street in the distance of the crazy buffet sign/atti throwin the horns picture?!

Of so, that’s such a perfect HAI IM IN AMERICA!! photo haha..

  • Posted March 15, 2009 at 9:42 pm | Permalink

I have the D80, it’s an amazing camera. I wish I could fold it up and put it in my purse though, lol.

I don’t think my Mac likes LJ, I can’t see some of the pictures….again.

  • Posted March 15, 2009 at 10:10 pm | Permalink

Ohhh, a Lexus IS 300! Still one of my favorite cars ever. I have no idea why. Something about them just gets me all weak in the knees.

I’m really disappointed that I didn’t get to see you guys while you were here. I guess I’ll just have to make it a point to go to your neck of the woods when I finally make it overseas.

  • Posted March 15, 2009 at 11:00 pm | Permalink

Turns out I have to cancel half my trip which includes romania =[
And i was looking forward to getting a free tour out of you !
And i think im heartbroken that i don’t get to hear the accents. *tear*

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 12:25 pm | Permalink

what I wanted to add: SUSHI!! <3 *teehe* well, I think it's good to show people that you can't be razorcandi 24/7. it kinda reminds me of what Mrs.Varney said: "yet make-up is my armour, dear" :D

aw, a propos de events: I saw a poster at the working station of the guys from Transilvania Tattoo the tattoo convention in my city I’ve been to last week that there’s gonna be a tattoo con in Sibiu soon :)
thought you might be interested in that tip :)

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 12:29 pm | Permalink

Mmm yeah Sushi, how it miss it :( We don’t have it here and if we do it’s not so fresh and amazing as the sushi in FL.

Indeed that is an intelligent quote by Anna Varney ;)

Yes :D I know about the expo, it is in June or July, we are planning to go, I can’t wait!! I am going to get Razor Candi tattooed on my toes in old English, I might do it before the expo though because if I do it there I have to wear flip flops for the rest of the trip lol.

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 12:51 pm | Permalink

aww that sucks :( well I am sure some other time you will make it over here :) Yeah… the accents are pretty hot ;)

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 12:55 pm | Permalink

Haha is that what that is? I am terrible with cars! It is a sweet ride though!

Yeah it’s too bad we missed each other, I thought you were going to be flying in March though? What happened?

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 1:01 pm | Permalink

Yeah it’s really superb! I love it. My twin bought one about a year or so ago and I loved and wanted to get an SLR so I went with that one :) But yeah, it would be nice if you can fold it up and put it in a purse ;)

Aw boo :( I don’t think there are so many pics in this post either.

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 1:05 pm | Permalink

Yeah I think so he was like thrilled as fuck to see that because in Romania people definitely do not drive monster trucks, i don’t think they would fit on the street lol. What was even more awesome is that evening they showed the monster truck commercial on TV and it was in the commercial driving all over cars.

haha yeah he does the perfect “I LOVE AMERRDICA” face.

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 1:11 pm | Permalink

Thanks :D ooh awesome!! I love SLRs!

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 1:13 pm | Permalink

I agree :D Nice Icon ;) and ooh I heard about the D90 I bet its amazing, it was just a bit out of budget range, the D80 sill cost me nearly $1000 ouch!

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 1:18 pm | Permalink

haha not really, I haven’t been away quite that long, but it was nice to be able to get dressed up and not have a bunch of dumbasses shitting their pants.

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 1:22 pm | Permalink

Thanks :D aw yeah, he really is the best thing that ever happened to me, we really compliment each other :)

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 1:26 pm | Permalink

Aw well I have cover up on ;) Of course people always think their skin is a lot worse than what it really is, I am always freaked out when I get a pimple but you’d be surprised at how many people usually don’t notice ;) I guess I should take my own advise haha.

    ;) and the adventures continue!

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 1:33 pm | Permalink

    Thanks :D

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 1:37 pm | Permalink

Thanks :) I owe it to MAC ;) Yeah! People are always like “you look tired, you okay?” and I’m like “what? oh, thats because I don’t have a pound of eyeshadow on” ;)

mm I love sushi, I still remember the first time I tried it, I was a bit hesitant because of the raw fish and all but I love it! It’s probably one of my favorite foods :)

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 1:42 pm | Permalink

lol you know I will kill you if you do that ;)

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 1:46 pm | Permalink

By calling on your Tampa peeps and putting a hit on me? Or flying back in? I heard about your trip, I am not worth your time :0

Actually there is only one. I have this habit of forgetting I have the camera with me since it is so small. Will be posting about 40 pics from Feb/Mar sometime today. Resizing them now.

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 2:37 pm | Permalink

I wanted to go there too because Romania isn’t THAT far away from Austria but I’m heading to the US for 2 months so there won’t be time for the con. buh :( but the hotels and the public transport stuff are not that expensive, right?

what a wonderful idea, I totally dig lettering <3 I think I might even spezialize in lettering too, when I've improved my tattooing skills lol aw I'm such a perfectionist, that's awful :D

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 3:41 pm | Permalink

Such a loser. Took ONE the whole time. I really need to get a big honkin’ one like Andrew has so I won’t forget I have the damn thing with me.

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 6:01 pm | Permalink

I thought I was going to be flying out at the beginning of this month, too, but the passport is ROYALLY jerking me around. It’s driving me completely mad! They keep asking for more crap! I just sent off the final round of documents today. I even had to overnight it so that’s another $20 out of my pocket. So far, this passport has cost me nearly $300. I’m getting pretty fed up. But… if these new documents don’t do the trick, the passport will be denied and I’ll have to re-apply. God knows when I’ll actually get the damn thing. But… I’m not giving up until I get it no matter how many times I have to re-apply.

And when I do… I’ll come see you. haha. Eventually.

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 6:42 pm | Permalink

If one day you decided to stop posting it would be sad sad sad. I love to see what other people are doing. :) I miss your sisters posts. She is a great photographer. You as well…can’t wait to see pics from the new camera!

  • Posted March 16, 2009 at 8:43 pm | Permalink

you finally bought the camera! :D YOu know that if you need some help you have just to email me right? :)
Wich kind of lense does it has?

anyway: i love atti’s hair XD

  • Posted March 17, 2009 at 1:04 am | Permalink

    Chio hagyományos sültkrumpli? ahahaha :D
btw i totally missed the fact you were in Bp last month! :$

  • Posted March 17, 2009 at 9:42 am | Permalink

mm yeah, those are seriously the best chips I have ever had! And we don’t get them here in Romania only the other kind they make, they more puffy kind.

Ah yeah, I didn’t tell too many people I was going to be in Budapest because I wasn’t there for very long and didn’t have time to meet with many people :(

  • Posted March 17, 2009 at 9:58 am | Permalink

btw i thought they are called crisps in english. *confused* next time you’re here you should load up with it hehe.

hopefully you’ll have more time here at the summer. are you here for the whole sziget festival or just a few days?

  • Posted March 17, 2009 at 10:11 am | Permalink

Yes, finally!! I am so happy with it :) We haven’t used it much yet but I will definitely be consulting you if I have any questions ;) I guess my first question is what kind of flash do you recommend to be used with this? I was thinking about getting something like this:

but it’s kinda pricey, any suggestions for lighting techniques?

    It came with a AF-S Nikkor 18-135mm lense. I really want a macro ;)

Yeah Atti’s hair looked so hot like that, he loved it too but we have to shave it all off for his arrival back, his boss would have flipped (and probably the rest of Romania) if he walked into work like that, it’s not very common to have an off center mohawk, or any kind of mohawk in RO fo that matter haha.

  • Posted March 17, 2009 at 10:14 am | Permalink

I doubt I will ever stop posting, this is my LJ to look back at memories as much as it is for everyone else :) I am glad you enjoy looking through it! It is too bad that Eden has stopped posting so much but she is really busy with school and work and all.

I can’t wait to start taking pics with my new camera!

  • Posted March 17, 2009 at 10:20 am | Permalink

Damn that sucks! I was wondering what ever happened with that. That’s nuts! $300 and they can still deny it. When Atti went to apply for his visa they denied him and he has to pay $100 every visit just to apply for his visa, even if they deny it, but the second time they gave it to him, I kinda think they do it just to get the extra money, who knows with the gov’t, they can pretty much do anything they want.

Good luck! Hope you get it this time! You will LOVE Europe :D

  • Posted March 17, 2009 at 10:24 am | Permalink

haha aw it’s not so bad :D It’s actually a super cute picture! Thanks for sending it :) One pic the whole time? I could have sworn you took more.

  • Posted March 17, 2009 at 10:31 am | Permalink

That would be so cool if you come :D The transport isn’t so bad at all, you’d probably want to stay in a hostel though instead of a hotel, hostels run between 10 to 20 Euros a night. I’d totally invited you to crash with us but

1.) we don’t live in Sibiu

2.) we don’t have our own appt. yet, but I am hoping this will happen soon, then you can come visit and crash with us just for the sake of visiting RO.

Where are you going in the States? And that’s awesome that you are a tattoo artist, I always have wanted to do it but never found anyone to apprentice me. I am sure the practice the better you will get :)

  • Posted March 17, 2009 at 10:32 am | Permalink

ah cool, that sounds about right, I think the body of the D80 would have been about $750 but mine came with a lense. Unfortunately I don’t have any lenses yet, only the one it came with, but I really want a Macro lense!

  • Posted March 17, 2009 at 10:38 am | Permalink

haha!! well I have connections all over the world you see, but you are lucky with your swift picture taking finger that the single photo you’ve captured isn’t so horridly horrific, I will spare your life this time.

Can’t wait to see your new post ;)

  • Posted March 17, 2009 at 10:42 am | Permalink

Ah no, chips, never heard them called crisps. I should load myself up with them for sure, I planned to but then I had no room for anything and we kinda spent every last penny.

I am not sure if we will make it for the Sziget Festival, I’d love to but I don’t know what other festivals we are going to try and go to around Europe in August or what other plans we many have then, like getting our place ;)

  • Posted March 17, 2009 at 11:08 am | Permalink

Unfortunately Flashes are quite expensive :( The Sb600 is awesome, a friend has it and i have to say it’s really worth all the money. Try searching for a used one, here i can find some for some good prices.
If you want a more ‘pro’ flash then i would go for the Sb800 (wich isn’t in the catalogue this year though- so you have to search for used ones) but the price is a bit higher than the sb600.

If you want to save up some money go for Metz flashes, but i don’t have any particular suggestion as i never used one of their newest models. I have an old flash for analog photography wich is a metz and i have to say the quality is pretty good though.

Anyway, for portraits you can have good lights without using a flash most of the time, just use some sort of diy spot lights to have a decent illumination of the scene if you’re inside a house or such. For the external scenes though that makes it tricky.
I remember a tutorial from a girl somewhere that was quite food for external scenes, i think it was on da. If i’ll refind it i’ll link it to you :)

Anyway are you using raw, right? I use the bracketing option too, that makes 3 pictures with different exposures to help with the pp. With photoshop lightroom you can change everything with the raw but i suggest you to use the bracketing option as i think that’s the best :P

  • Posted March 17, 2009 at 12:52 pm | Permalink

10-20 euros, oh gee, that’s a bargain :D W00t! Thank you so much for the invitation, you’re so nice and it would be so rad partying together!! I’ll surely hit you up when I get to know more about visiting RO!
Well, my main “residence” will be in Niagara Falls, ontario, Canada, because my dad lives there hehe :D but we’re gonna visit NYC and LA and even Cuba. Last year I only had the chance to see Toronto but I’m totally looking forward to it, I love the states!

And all the tattoo artists you’ve hit up are silly they let you go. Pah! You’re so damn talented, they just don’t have any sensitivity.
    Haha ;)

  • Posted March 17, 2009 at 9:12 pm | Permalink

Awesome :D Lemme know if you have any questions about Romania or anything and I can try my best to help you out :)

Cool my older sister was born in Niagara Falls. I have never been to Canada but it seems beautiful and the people seem friendly haha, I have heard a lot of good things about Toronto, I’d love to visit sometime. Surprisingly I have never been to LA or out west much at all, I’ve mostly just been up and down the East Coast, I love NYC! Cuba seems interesting as well :) Hope you have tons of fun!

Aw thanks :) well I was always shy about asking anyway because I don’t have my own machine and stuff anyway and if they said yes I’d have to buy a machine and I imagine they can be pretty pricey and then what if I sucked at tattooing then I’d have a machine sitting around collecting dust lol.

  • Posted March 17, 2009 at 9:26 pm | Permalink

the Sb800 sounds nice :) I will have to save up for sure for a decent flash, I think the investment will be worth it.

I guess right now I just need some diy lighting. I like the way florescent lighting turns out in photos. I will be shooting a lot inside since I certainly don’t want to go walking the streets in Romania dressed up haha, so I am going to need lighting for sure or all my stuff will be blurry or grainy :(

If you find that da link I’d love to see it :)

I think I will have to email you for sure because I don’t even know how to set the images to raw and what exactly raw images are, the purpose behind them and why it’s best to shoot raw. Mojokiss showed me light room and it’s so awesome! I never got around to using it though, maybe you can also walk me through some basics on that as well as setting the camera to the bracketing option. In fact you can just reply to this in an email and we will take it from there ;)

  • Posted March 17, 2009 at 9:33 pm | Permalink

wow awesome!!! I know about the fisheye lenses those are crazy :D really awesome photo too, great job capturing that and also good idea using the lens for that it looks great :D

  • Posted March 17, 2009 at 9:45 pm | Permalink

Sweet! So where exactly do you live and and and how’s the nightlife? Hm do you have MSN Messenger or something like that? I’d really like to keep in touch and so on, writing 1000 comments via livejournal must look pretty crazy :D

Oh what can I say about Niagara Falls..it really is great..and beautiful. I was so impressed as my pop told me that Lake Ontario is way bigger than Austria! Aw man you’ve had to see my face :D I’m totally looking forward going through the streets of NYC!! I’ve never been there before..

Well, I’m shy about asking too because I have to show my portfolio and I think that my portfolio, my drawings suck lol. I really have to improve my skills. I’m young, I do have the time but on the other hand I do wanna know every little thing and be capable to do the best tattoos ever haha. About the machine, my pop bought me a complete set for 319 Euros. It cointains even 2 machines, a liner and a shader and toooooooooooooooooons of other equipment. And the machines are TOP! And I think you’d be a great tattooist. If I can do this, then you surely too! :D

Right now we are living about 20 to 30 minutes from Brasov. The city we live in is alright, it’s smaller than most of the other cities and there are a lot more Hungarians where we live, they seem to be a little more civilized than the people down south, but then again the more west you got the more civilized people seem to be so maybe thats why haha.

There isn’t much of a nightlife at all where we are, maybe events, concerts about once a month (if we get lucky haha) but it’s nice, I am kinda sick of partying every night anyway and it actually makes you appreciate going out and dressing up more ;)

I have Yahoo, no MSN, my Yahoo name is Razor_Candi though I rarely get onto messenger :-( if you would rather talk though email my email is Razor_Candi@Yahoo.com

You will love NYC! There are so many awesome shops and stuff there :)

319 isn’t so bad, but it is still a lot not knowing if I can even do it, plus I am a total pussy about doing a bad tattoo on someone, and it’s inevitable if you are a beginner and I’d feel like such an asshole to make someone walk around with a bad tattoo lol.

  • Posted March 18, 2009 at 9:44 pm | Permalink

wow great travel and very funny photos! Yes D80 it is a very good camera, I love Nikon this brand doing a very fine photo cameras. But now i do not have camera, I sold my camera, it is sad
